The Two Sisters of Two Tone Press are Too Good

Ah, how I love wordplay…

Anyway, so are you in the mood for some killer, yet unpredictable letterpress work? That’s good because I’m shoving Two Two Press down your throat for the moment, but I promise, it will taste delicious.

Two Tone is a letterpress shop out of Kansas City, started by Michelle Dreher in 2005. Things were going so well, they broke up open doors and knocked down walls on a new space in 2010. In 2011, Dreher convinced her sister Angie to join forces. I met both ladies at Renegade LA, and despite the country-wide travelling from show to show, and weeks away from home, they both had really bright smiles and eager to talk to me about the work.

I’m a big fan now, and in retrospect, I’m a bit disappointed in myself for not buying something from them because the work is right up my alley. There is an Etsy shop too, so I’ll probably give that a go very soon. Cheers, ladies!

  1. THANKS So Much!!! It was a blast meeting so many awesome people! These Two Renegades [SF & LA] were our first Ever! It is definitely a crazy experience! and I’m glad we had the opportunity to show off our wares :D I’m also glad we made a good impression… I’m pretty sure we were getting a bit daffy towards the end there.

    • You’re welcome. Angie. You deserve a lot more notoriety. I’m happy to lend a little. Rest up and then kick more ass.
