I don’t know what you were doing at 23 years of age, but I know I wasn’t doing anything of much value, and I definitely wasn’t producing expert level design projects like the works of Erik Hamline. For instance, this selection of Great American Writings which Hamline calls, “Self initiated series of small books featuring the published ideas of America’s youth.” Let’s just be perfectly clear here: He transcribed, designed, printed and bound these short books himself. I’m in awe, but his talent goes way beyond this. More of his design work on Woods & Weather.
