Liz Lau is a photographer originally from Toronto, but based in Hong Kong now, and she has a pension for religious architecture, or so it seems with her new offerings on Mammoth. I dig this shot of the temple interior, although a 3-dimensional object, the abstract monochromatic tone gives is a very 2-dimensional look. It brings an immediate bit of nostalgia to mind of playing with my Spirograph kit, making countless geometric designs on any piece of paper I could get my hands on.
