Mohawk Paper has reinvented its look recently, and I must say, looks pretty good. It’s not a complete home run for me, but I like playful metaphor of this logo mark and what they’ve done with it across their packaging and other branded elements. Props out to Pentagram for the overhaul.
Mohawk is the largest, privately owned paper mill in the country. I don’t typically buy their products because I like to spend my money on smaller mills when I can, such as French Paper, but Mohawk is ubiquitous and eventually you’re going to find your work on their paper one way or another. Even though they are a big player, they still try to remain feeling small to the little guys, which can be good or bad, but seems to be a decent strategy toward their success. (via Brand New)
