Thanks to everyone who helped get our Facebook numbers to the magical 300. The number has no real significance and is still meager in comparison to many other art bloggers out there, but I’m stoked about it and its just about time I showed my appreciation.
The Plan
If you’re not already aware, the prize that we’re giving away is 2 free poster prints from The Poster List of your choosing. You might want to go over there now and have a look at his stock to see which two prints you’d like to adorn your walls.
To be eligible for the giveaway, you must be a subscriber to the Fresh Rag Newsletter. You can do that either on my Newsletter Signup page (which is quite sparse and unfinished, but does the job), or you can follow this link to the fancier form: SUBSCRIBE HERE!
The contest stays running until 9pm Pacific time this Saturday, August 4th, so get on over and subscribe to be part of it. Sure, you can unsubscribe after the contest, and I make it real easy, but why would you want to do that when you know the only way to win cool stuff is to be one of the Fresh Rag Newsie Elite?
On Sunday morning, I will randomly generate a number that corresponds with a particular subscriber according to when they subscribed, and then I will announce the winner in the Weekly Update email I send out just about every Sunday. I will also contact the winner directly.
One final note about my email updates: I hate SPAM in every sense of the word, so I will not be sending you email after email pimping my latest and greatest to you. I usually send out 1 email a week with nothing more than links and simple updates. I might do follow-ups for contests and announcements that are exclusive to subscribers, but that’s about as far as I anticipate taking it. I also will never give your email addresses to anyone for any reason. You data is safe with us.
That’s pretty much it. Good luck to all the subscribers and I look forward to doing more of these contests soon. Big props to Adam from The Poster List for helping a brother out on this.
