One of the biggest blessings (and curses) of being a creative individual is the constant stream of ideas that seems to simmer at the surface of our mind. The hard part is to filter through that quagmire, choose the best ones, and make something happen with them. Ali Sabet is as multi-passionate as the rest of us, but he’s making it work for him and perched to go big. While managing several brands at once, he’s making a name for himself in many areas of concentration—art, design, illustration, product development, and business consultation.
You’ll notice we try something a different, bumping the front with a snippet that I found to be a funny outtake from the conversation. I might try to do this once in awhile, just to keep you on your toes. The first segment is all about friends and why I think it’s important to bring friends on the show to bring a truly authentic, conversational style with these little chats. It bugs me a lot when I feel like the interview feels forced and mechanical. Of course, I’m WAY more critical than most will be on this, but I felt a need to talk about keeping myself in check with the quality of the conversation we have here.
Today’s tool tip is a bit of a stretch on the “tool” aspect, but it’s just as effective to the success of your business as your social media accounts—maybe even more. I’m talking about getting off the couch, get out of the house and go hang out with real people. Whether you hang out with people in your industry, or just hang out with like minded friends; taking time to meet up with others. Biological creatures cannot grow without sunshine so go out and get some.
