One of my favorite artists on Etsy is the ever present and popular, Mae Chevrette. I dig her style and sea-fairing subject matter; reminds me of my own work, only better than mine by a country mile. So, when Mae says she’s inspired by another artist, I take notice. This time it’s Maureen Brouilette, and one look at her work shows me exactly why she’s so inspired. I’m in awe. I see these pieces and I get anxious, only because I want to be doing this kind of work, and I’ve completely lost touch with that side of things for a myriad of self-established reasons, but we’re not hear to talk about my psychosis. We’re hear to admire great work. Go on then.
