I’ve featured a whole lot of artists who work on paper since starting this site back in April, and I have quite a few favorites. Some have even seeped so far into my psyche that I’m eagerly awaiting a chance to buy an original piece from them. Maja Ruznic’s watercolor art originals are definitely in that latter category. While perusing her latest offerings, I saw these two below, Woman Praying and Man Waiting. These are a little less surreal than a lot of Ruznic’s work, but still move me. I wonder what she’s charge for the set? At only 5×8″ a piece, I can’t imagine they’re ridiculous, but then again, I’ve seen Picasso’s in that size go for tens of thousands, so who knows. Perhaps I should ask Maya and find out for sure.
