Talisha McDaniel is one of those rare, few artists who actually sought me out. She friended me up on Etsy, which happens a lot lately, but rarely do I find a befriended artist that I’m enamored enough to share with y’all. Talisha fits that bill perfectly with her collage work. There’s a rawness to Talisha’s work, but I dig the little bit of chaos mixed in with the glamorous imagery. There’s a story behind the motion-blurred light trails, beyond my realm of knowledge, but I like the way dissects the image, yet adds a bit of excitement and movement. I know, some really creative stuff, and she’s just getting started on Etsy. The price point is a bit out of some folks’ range, but still reasonable for collectors. I say hop on the wagon before it takes off.
