I came across this beautifully directed documentary by Hanah Ryu Chung which talks to several individuals in the publishing industry and their relationships to books. The pervasive thought is the same I’ve shared over and over here on Fresh Rag, that e-readers and e-books are definitely the future of publishing, but there is still a large majority of individuals who appreciate the tactile and ephemeral aspect of reading, touching and possessing books.

Nice docu, but whoever shot that video needs to calm the #*&$ out with the rack focusing!
The hipster logo didn’t give you a clue how this was going to be shot? Of course they’re going to indulge the most popular post-processing trends.
