UPDATE! – When I originally saw these prints on Fab, I was under the impression that the Line Series pieces (two at the top) were Monoprints based on the terminology being used in the listings. Turns out, they are not monoprints, but rather limited edition prints of the original monoprints. I alerted Fab about the problem, but they have decided to keep the headlines the same and add some small bit of update in the body copy. Personally, I think that’s bad form and slightly shady that they are continuing to sell them under impression they are original pieces of art. I love the work, and I want to give props to Dana McClure for her artistry, but I can’t in good conscience continue to promote their sale on Fab. Instead I’m pointing any links directly to McClure’s site.
I haven’t featured an artist from Fab in awhile, but Dana McClure needs some attention. Well, maybe “needs” is a bit much, because I’m sure she’s going to sell quite a lot, but the work is definitely worth bringing to your attention. Some limited editions, and some monoprints, and all worth a look, especially at these great prices.
