Just saw a new update from 20×200 that they’re featuring Valerie Roybal. I was immediately intrigued by the work and decided to dig a little deeper. Roybal’s work is what I consider “next level” collage, moving far away from the cut and paste of the scrapbook set, into something far cooler, bordering if not stampeding into the fine art category. Whatever you think of the work, it’s safe to say Roybal has a firm grasp on style and aesthetic.
